The Senior Director, New Business Development is responsible for recruiting new national, regional and underwriting partners for the organization. This position must establish, cultivate, manage and maintain high-level relationships with corporate and community partners, key internal and external stakeholders, community supporters, and others required to bring new fundraising partnerships into the organization. This position must also evaluate ROI and potential in a partner and develop strategies to either achieve fundraising success or assist the concept in exiting the organization. The Salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000.
The Essential Work You Will Do
Own new partnership acquisition within an Area by identifying, cultivating, recruiting and developing new national and regional partners for hospital fundraising initiatives.
Identify potential Underwriting opportunities in collaboration with the appropriate CMNH staff handling organizational fundraising
Develop and fill the pipeline of prospects by establishing, cultivating, managing and maintaining high-level relationships with internal and external stakeholders, community supporters, and others who can assist in recruiting new partnerships.
Create and conduct sales presentations to effectively describe and define concepts and programs, working to expand the partnerships to new opportunities.
Leveraging subject matter experts, develop long-term strategy and goals for each new partnership including building a strategic plan to raise more than $1M within two years.
Evaluate ROI and potential in a partnership and fundraising concept.
Recommend and support the implementation of impactful, efficient and large-scale fundraising campaigns to launch in a partner’s inaugural fundraising year.
Other Work You May Do
Propose innovative tools and resources in collaboration with other internal CMN Hospital teams and our hospitals that can create saleable assets for CMN Hospital programs and existing corporate partners.
Support the execution of multiple new and innovative fundraising campaigns, products, events and corporate partnerships with the goal of meeting key performance indicators to prove the concept(s) successful.
Collaborate with National Corporate Partner Teams or Hospital Customer Owners to identify new partnership opportunities with vendors, customers or other complimentary partners.
