Resource Development is instrumental in the ongoing fundraising efforts of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis. The Database Specialist is the organizer of all funder information and funder reporting. This position requires a highly motivated individual who uses their interpersonal and administrative skills to work closely with the President, VP's and RD staff in order to provide the overall direction for resource development information systems and processes that support and contribute to the success of BGCSTL fundraising efforts.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree or significant work experience can substitute for a degree. Computer experience is required; advanced proficiency and accuracy using fundraising and/or SQL-based constituent relationship management (CRM) databases; knowledge of Raiser's Edge desired. The candidate will have demonstrated analytical experience generating, extracting ad manipulating data report to assist with the strategic direction and a broad knowledge of fundraising practices. Experience in moves management and prospect research strongly desired.

For 50 years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL), the premier youth service provider in the St. Louis region, has been providing after school, summer, teen and sports programs for youth ages 6-18.

The Clubs now serve St. Louis youth at ten locations (Adams Park Club, Ferguson Middle School Club, Grannemann Elementary School Club, Herbert Hoover Club, Lee Hamilton Elementary School Club, O’...Fallon Park Club, Riverview Gardens Club and Hazelwood Southeast Middle School Club), within two High Schools (Normandy and Roosevelt High School) as well as five additional elementary schools through our Mentor St. Louis Program. The Clubs are open during hours that kids are most likely to need a safe place to go — after school and during summer.
The Club is a chartered member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), which has 4,000 chartered locations that serve nearly 4 million youth annually.
