We have a full- time opportunity for a detail-oriented Database Coordinator with a strong work ethic to be responsible for comprehensive database support and analysis for the annual appeal, major and planned gifts, marketing, communications, and events for Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital Foundation. You will be part of a high-performing team that together, implements a comprehensive development program of identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding annual, major and planned gift donors and prospects.
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum two (2) years' experience working in non-profit development/foundation area.
Proficiency in using donor database, Raiser's Edge or NXT, and software for non-profits required.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Strong organizational, writing, and analytic skills
Excellent interpersonal, multitasking and communication skill
High attention to details and able to work in deadline-driven environment
Certification or advanced training in database desired. Healthcare fundraising experience preferred. Understanding of development fundamentals, healthcare fundraising a plus.
