Hospice of Yuma, Yuma County's only not for profit hospice provider, has a 38-year history of providing high quality compassionate care to the terminally ill in our community. We currently are looking to hire an experienced Fund Development Specialist. The areas of responsibility for this position will be Donor Relations, including data base management, Social Media Management, and Editorial Management for all the organizations print media. Only Candidates meeting the requirements and experience level will be considered for interviews.
Hospice of Yuma has a small but well established Fund Development office has a proud history of raising funds to fulfill the organization's mission, ensure that care is available for those terminally ill patients that are uninsured, provide funding for community bereavement services, and assist the organization with development of new programs. Candidates for the position must have working knowledge of various fund development data bases, Adobe CS, and Microsoft Office software etc.… and knowledge and proven mastery of social media platforms. Knowledge of non-profit marketing strategies and fund development best practices is a plus.
Candidates must have a good working history with proof of excellent organizational and customer service skills. The job responsibilities require successful candidates to be detail and deadline oriented. Excellent and effective communication and interpersonal skills. Most importantly candidates must have a heart for non-profit work and a belief in the hospice philosophy.
