The Executive Assistant (EA) is the right hand of the Chief Development Officer, with central responsibility for directing follow-up on donor portfolio moves, calendaring meetings for internal and external stakeholders and managing workflow, all while anticipating needs to help meet the CDO’s annual and Campaign fundraising goals most effectively. The Executive Assistant will also support one other senior Development Officer.
The EA will support the Development Senior Management Team and the Development department broadly as a key member and a support for the execution of the department’s work. The EA will help department members and others across the organization access the CDO and the department more broadly by prioritizing requests and escalating critical needs.
Ability to implement complex processes.
Ability to use existing technology to achieve desired results.
Demonstrated experience using diplomacy and tact to build strong relationships and motivate staff.
Experience coordinating projects.
Ability to analyze information for the purpose of coordinating and planning activities, and solving problems;
Experience interpreting guidelines to achieve desired results;
Experience working with a board of directors, donors, volunteers, the public, and/or all levels of staff; and/or
Strong organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
