We are seeking a Donor Relations Administrator to join our Development Team. The Donor Relations Administrator is responsible for creating and implementing effective systems to ensure that donors and prospective donors consistently experience high-quality interactions with Ability Beyond that encourages long-term engagement.
Administrates and maintains Raiser’s Edge NXT database, Luminate, Blackbaud Peer to Peer and other digital giving platforms.
Establishes and maintains standards and procedures for entering data, provides training and support to users, generates reports and lists, enters contributions and ensures integrity of the database through regular maintenance of records, and resolves system problems that may have a significant effect on business operations.
Provides administrative support to the Vice President for Development & Communications and the Development and Community Engagement team.
Generates donor acknowledgments in a timely manner. Works closely with the Finance Department to support timely and successful donation entries and collections of pledges.
Provides support to the Board of Trustees committee.
Works collaboratively with Development team on ongoing projects and initiatives, including supporting planned fundraising events as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree required and a minimum of 3-4 Raiser’s Edge Experience/RENXT & Luminate experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Must be comfortable in Excel.
Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills required in order to proofread acknowledgment letters and communicate directly with donors via email or phone.
Possession of pleasant and collaborative style in the workplace including professional attitude, attention to detail, dependability and initiative.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Someone who takes pride in managing database and is passionate about helping donors.
Ability to prioritize requests, establish workflow procedures, multi-task, meet deadlines and deliver on assigned objectives.
