In support of Advancement Office goals, ensure the completion of grant applications to organizations and individuals.
Working with the Office of the Provost and in compliance with Faculty Grants Seeking policies and procedures, support faculty grants seeking.
Ensure grants secured in accordance with Grand View policies and procedures are maintained in compliance with requirements of the grants makers and the Grand View Business Office.
Manage and solicit a select number of corporate and foundation prospects by developing strategies to maximize giving potential.
Provide quantitative analysis of Advancement Office database to identify donor prospects best suited for Advancement marketing and fundraising initiatives.
As required to meet Advancement Office goals, identify and write research briefs about donor prospects.
Provide support to the Office of the President by writing documents as requested.
Provide support to the Vice President of Advancement by writing policies, procedures and plans for the Advancement Office.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
2. Experience in successful grant writing preferred.
3. Leadership qualities including problem-solving abilities, quantitative analysis, collaboration, and friendly, courteous, professional behavior required.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to express oneself effectively, both orally and in writing required.
