Responsible for planning and coordinating special events with the goal of raising operational funds.
Make public speaking presentations to raise funds and awareness.
Generate new ideas for fundraising and volunteerism.
Accountable for general management of office operations and supervisor of volunteer staff.
Organize the collection of data, information, and photographs for newsletters, post event emails and other publications.
Assist in the creation of event materials, newsletters, direct mail, brochures, fact sheets and other printed and digital materials.
Organize, maintain, and order office supplies and organize donor and board meetings.
Process donations, entering/updating data in Raiser's Edge, thank you letters, etc.
Provide follow-up and donor stewardship to retain existing donors.
Support all development events throughout the office.
Manage Social Media for the office.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer proficiency in word processing, database, spreadsheets and desktop publishing.
Knowledge of community resources and contacts.
Ability to plan and coordinate special fundraising events.
Database experience with Raiser's Edge preferred.
Social Media experience with Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Non-profit experience preferred.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, ability to manage stress, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, high energy.
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
Maintain bodily Injury Liability Insurance of $100,000 per claim, $300,000 per incident on personal automobile.
