• In collaboration with the Vice President, Development, create and implement a growth-oriented Annual Fund strategic plan incorporating the strongest possible renewal plan, acquisition for new donors, direct mail, telemarketing, e-solicitations, online giving, social media and the use of other new technologies. • Manage a portfolio of 50-75 annual giving donors (up to $5,000) and prospects with a focus on acquiring new individual donors. • Manage a donor group of Canadian Friends through active stewardship, cultivation and solicitation. • Achieve personal target of $100,000 in annual giving initially, with appropriate increases determined by the Vice President, Development in following years. • Establish performance objectives/measures, goals, work plans and weekly managerial reports for the Annual Fund program, revising the strategic plan as necessary. • Prepare annual budget for program. Submit on a timely basis to Vice President, Development, for inclusion in overall Development budget. Review expenditures in this area. • Provide mailing lists from database for mailing of newsletters, concert programs, annual report, direct mail appeals, event invitations, solicitations and more as needed. • Support accurate donor information acquisition and retention in accordance with regulations, obligations and Artis—Naples policies and procedures. • Work with the Patron Services team to coordinate appropriate acknowledgement processes to ensure Annual Fund donors are thanked in a timely manner and letters are updated on a regular schedule. • Create and secure approvals for stewardship activities of benefit to donors. Attend events as needed, especially during peak season. Evening and weekend work should be expected. • Provide support to management, Patron Services, Finance and Volunteers through Tessitura expertise. • Join with others to work on special projects and efforts that contribute to the organization’s goals. • Maintain shared drive files and folders. • Observe safety requirements. Report safety issues and items requiring work orders to Supervisor or Security. • Work effectively with all Artis—Naples team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, non-profit or arts management required. • Four+ years of progressively responsible experience in Annual Fund and/or membership fundraising, or as an integrated marketing professional with revenue generation responsibilities. • Demonstrated ability to conceive and implement strategies that resulted in sustained long-term growth in annual support. • Progressive growth and consistent achievement of goals. • High energy, sense of humor and grace under pressure. • Knowledge of and/or interest in music and both the visual and performing arts preferred.
