Core Responsibilities The Program Manager will have the opportunity to have a significant impact on all aspects of leadership, but specifically in the areas of programs and volunteers. Primary Duties 1. Program Management The Program Manager will work closely with the Executive Director in all aspects of program management. The Program Manager will manage teams of women and men which will include women in recovery, abused women, single mothers with children, individuals living in low income housing and those with non-violent criminal backgrounds. Groups range in size from 5 to 30 women and men. The Program Manager has sole responsibility for up to four groups during each training session. Will be responsible for program coordination with agencies, training new coaches and volunteers, and leading clients in their training groups. The Program Manager has sole responsibility for managing program administrative tasks for all groups. Coordinates all clients and agencies at the capstone 5K races and planning and implementing graduations for each team. 2. Volunteer recruitment, management, tracking, and appreciation The Program Manager will be refining the volunteer management program, which includes recruitment, cultivation, training, and management. We need dozens of volunteers for each session and without volunteers we cannot successfully run our programs. Volunteers will need to be recruited, cultivated and appreciated. The Program Manager’s duties include but are not limited to: Secondary Duties 1. Event planning and support 2. Donor cultivation and management 3. Office and donation maintenance.
Qualifications · Degree: BA or BS from accredited university · Experience in nonprofit or program management
Experience in program development, communications, and marketing. Demonstrates organization, time management and planning skills with good attention to detail. Interest in working with disadvantaged women. Demonstrates aptitude for leadership and administration. Ability to use good judgment, problem solve, and establish rapport with others. Demonstrate solid written and verbal communication skills. Exhibits proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Social media.

Hours: Full time
Benefits: Upon starting benefits include $50 per month cell phone reimbursement, mileage, parking, and toll reimbursement (specifications apply). After 90 days, benefits include health insurance, 50% of which is paid by employer, 80 hours of PTO (specifications apply). It also includes autonomy, and an opportunity to grow personally and professionally.
During the three ten-week sessions conducted throughout the year (approximately 30 weeks, the schedule will include evening hours (Sunday – Thursday 6 – 8 pm) at various agency locations throughout the city. The remaining hours will be spent Monday – Thursday, primarily at the home office. Between sessions, hours will be primarily 8-5 Monday – Friday.
In addition, attendance at approximately ten evening or weekend fundraisers, local races, board meetings, and promotional events will be required.
The Program Manager will need to be able to stand and sit for moderate amounts of time and be comfortable with low impact exercise 6-8 times a week during all types of weather.
The Program Manager must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to the office, workouts, fundraising events, and speaking locations.
