The Wichita State University Foundation is looking to hire a talented, highly motivated individual to be the Senior Director of Development for the W. Frank Barton School of Business. This individual will collaborate with the Dean and other development personnel to develop fundraising strategy.
The person hired for this position will join the Foundation at a particularly dynamic moment for the W. Frank Barton School of Business, as Dr. Larisa Genin will assume the role of dean early this summer and the process to design and build a new home for the School will begin. This is an excellent leadership opportunity for an experienced fundraiser with a background and/or interest in higher education.
Minimum requirements for the position include:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution required
Seven years development or Major Gift ($35,000 or more) experience in higher education or equivalent experience
Willing to travel with occasional weekend and evening
Must have and maintain valid driver’s license and insurance
Project professional image at all times

Graduate degree from accredited institution
Knowledge of Wichita State University and a commitment to higher education
