Directs and oversees all fund development functions.
In partnership with the DVP of Philanthropy, develop and implement a comprehensive annual Philanthropy plan.
Achieve annual revenue goals; assist in meeting departmental goals.
Serve as one of the team’s integral front-line fundraisers.
Supervise, train and develop philanthropy staff while building an effective fundraising team.
Supervise management of the Institutional Giving Program.
Supervise management of the Community Engagement Program, which includes Goodwill’s volunteer program.
Supervise individual giving, major gifts, direct mail, planned giving efforts and CRM initiatives.
Manage department budget to plan.
Assist with management of special events planning.
Provide information and documentation for tax purposes as requested by donors and ensure all donor acknowledgments comply with tax regulations.
Create correspondence, donor benefits roster, acknowledgement letters and other materials necessary for relevant campaigns.
Represent the organization in the community as needed.
Upholds safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; train and educate employees of safety requirements; reports any potential hazards or accidents.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience in progressively responsible development positions. Minimum 3 years supervisor experience.
Proven and verifiable track record in fundraising, especially in the area of Major Gifts.
Knowledge of corporate and foundation funders in the Central and Northern Puget Sound.
Proven ability to build, cultivate and grow relationships with corporate and donor community.
Ability to work effectively with Board of Directors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and donor relations software.
