Dartmouth seeks a talented professional to join its Leadership Giving team as Development Officer. The Development Officer will manage a select portfolio of individuals capable of making annual and mid-level gifts in support of Dartmouth College's institutional priorities. They will develop approaches and activities that lead to successful solicitation, cultivation and stewardship of donors personally and in partnership with Leadership Giving colleagues. This position will also participate in the CASE North American Residency Program.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree with two to three years of fundraising, sales or marketing experience; or the equivalent as well as an appreciation for the values of a liberal arts education. Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking skills, and recognized leadership qualities and customer service orientation. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a capacity to manage a wide range of relationships and situations. Knowledge of Dartmouth is a plus.
