The Thomas Jefferson Foundation seeks a fundraising professional to provide critical support and initiative for our fundraising efforts through the cultivation and stewardship of a national portfolio of individual donors. This position will establish and maintain relationships with donors, prepare department communications, establish prospect lists for fundraising priorities, and meet defined fundraising metrics. The Development Officer will also assist with the creation and planning of events to help further individual and corporate relationships with the Foundation. Candidates must have 3+ years in the development field, a BA degree, and superior interpersonal communication skills. Enthusiasm for history is preferred. Some travel required, and events are frequently held outside standard office hours. Open until filled.
