Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a highly motivated Corporate Relations Officer to join the Corporate Relations Division. The selected candidate will establish and oversee donor relationships with nationally-based companies, maintain non-healthcare corporate donor and prospect relationships, cultivate relationships with public and private international companies, and identify new potential partnership opportunities.

What you will do:
Establish and oversee donor relationships with nationally-based companies to provide support for ASCO and Conquer Cancer programs
Oversee Shop to Conquer Cancer Program at ASCO’s Annual Meeting including onsite program partners
Assist with development and management of Oncology 101 Speaker Series
Maintain non-healthcare corporate donor and prospect relationships, including conducting in-person meetings and phone calls, making requests for support, and drafting and submitting letters of inquiry, proposals, and reports
Coordinate development of a comprehensive Portion of Proceeds program including collateral and proposal writing and development, extensive research, cold-calling potential partners, and client management
Cultivate relationships with public and private high-value, international companies that share ASCO and the Foundation’s commitment to conquering cancer, and with key retail partners that have the potential to expand to national partnerships
Develop and implement targeted programs and partnerships that will directly engage corporate and retail partners in assisting the Foundation in furthering our mission
Assist in increasing public awareness of Conquer Cancer and its mission through the establishment of relationships with associations and public groups who have a direct line to the public
Draft all proposals related to fundraising activities and provide support for special projects, as needed
What you will need in order to be successful:
2-5 years of fundraising experience, preferably with corporations
At least one year of grant writing experience
At least two years of experience working with a CRM software
Superior communication skills; including oral, written, and listening
Action-oriented with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
Results-focused with the ability to manage own time, priorities, and resources to achieve goals
