Summary: The Manager of Development for Major and Planned Gifts oversees a comprehensive and multi-faceted major and planned giving program for Gundersen Medical Foundation overseeing and directing a team of 3-5 major gift officers. Responsible for designing, coordinating, implementing and managing an effective major gift program ($10,000+). The position reports directly to the Foundation’s Director of Development (DOD) and works closely with the DOD as well as the executive director of operations, foundation board chairman, and chair of the development committee. The incumbent will maintain a personal portfolio of 100 donors and prospects and maintain and promote a personal, professional philosophy of community involvement by participation in professional and community activities. This position is an active member/leader of the overall development team.
Education and Learning:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
3-4 years Fundraising development, experience in a professional capacity, preferably in a dynamic healthcare environment.
