The College of Law seeks to hire a Director of Philanthropy to lead the College’s fundraising activities. Managed by the UK Philanthropy Office, with dotted line reporting to the Dean, the Philanthropy Director is responsible for the overall leadership of philanthropy activities within the College of Law. The Director will provide counsel to the Dean regarding philanthropy activities as well as, work with the associate Deans, Department Heads, faculty and staff on philanthropic initiatives in the College. With a primary focus on major gift fundraising at high giving levels, the incumbent will engage in progressively more sophisticated philanthropic giving conversations with major gift donors and prospects of greater capacity.
The College of Law, founded in 1908, is celebrating over one hundred years of service to the Commonwealth of Kentucky. As we prepare to celebrate the opening of a newly renovated facility in 2019, the College is proud to have provided legal education to many of Kentucky’s leaders and outstanding lawyers, and we believe that our current students will join the ranks of those who have helped better our state.
