Atlantic Health is seeking a full time seasoned Administrative Assistant in Foundation Development.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist in the coordination of principal, major and planned gifts activity for the foundation. First point of contact for the major gift program and will, as such, greet visitors, answer phones and is a resource for both the department and foundation phone calls.
Daily use of Raisers Edge (RE) donor database to enter contact reports, actions, run reports.
Responsible for general office duties; maintain files, schedule meetings; attend meetings; take minutes; schedule tours; enter donor information in database (RE); answer phones; document proofing, monthly expense submission and support other foundation office activity as needed.
Meet with Directors weekly to prioritize work flow and projects.
Manage Directors’ calendars to include internal and external meetings, events and other related activities for the department.
Produce regular reports (Gift Reports, Quarterly Reports, Board Reports, Year-end Reports, Status Reports, etc.)
Prepare committee/meeting packets and information for presentations and solicitations and drafting of PowerPoint presentations as needed.
Coordinate correspondence, personalized appeal letters and proposals, personal gift acknowledgements, list management, scheduling and mail calendars for planned giving mailings (invitations, direct mail, newsletters, etc.).
Prepare Prospect/Volunteer Meetings for planned giving, principal gifts and campaign committees.
Assist with donor cultivation events and work with Events Coordinator when needed.
Work collaboratively with other administrative support across the foundation as needed with the Executive Assistant and Office Manager.
Bachelor degree required
Previous fundraising experience preferred
Raisers Edge experience desired
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Must have excellent communication skills
Must have exceptional attention to detail
Must be able to manage multiple projects
Must be highly organized
