This position performs complex accounting functions including fiscal interpretation and financial analysis for the Virginia Mason Foundation requiring full professional competency. Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information, accurately track revenue and expense for the Foundation and all its restricted gift funds, prepare various financial reports, prepare and track the Foundation budget, and serve as a liaison to the Finance Department for the Medical Center.

This is senior level professional accounting position requiring a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting and 5 years experience in accounting.
Extensive knowledge of financial accounting theory.
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws including filing requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and technical skills.
Computer literacy with specific knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Excel, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and Blackbaud Financial edge is preferred.
