Williamson Medical Center is hiring a Database Specialist for The Foundation based in Franklin, TN. This is a part time position with FLEXIBLE morning hours and the ability to WORK FROM HOME!
Job Summary: This position serves as the Database Specialist for the WMC Foundation and supports the director and extended staff in an administrative function. This position is responsible for supporting grateful patient screening, review and prospect mining activities.
Formal Education/Training: High School diploma required, Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred Proficiency in Raiser’s Edge & ResearchPoint software required
Workplace Experience: Minimum of 3 years prior healthcare philanthropy experience required
Equipment and Skills Training: Computer software knowledge: Raiser’s Edge & ResearchPoint software; Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Telephones, Fax, Color Printers, Laptop Computer and LCD HD monitors.
Physical Environment: General office environment, in addition to outside corporate and community event locations as deemed necessary by the department’s work plan.
Physical Effort: Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer in a general office setting, may lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Must exhibit strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
Key Results: 1. Conduct the review of daily, weekly and monthly patient screenings and reports per the Grateful Patient program recommendations 2. Conduct proactive research focused on lead generation in order to enhance the pool of prospective donors and further the fund raising priorities and goals 3. Support research and data mining efforts to help identify new prospects 4. Responsible for data integrity management and solutions. Ensures practices are in place to maintain quality data. Responsible for maintenance, clean up and special projects as needed 5. Provide database support to all staff and fulfill requests for data queries, donor lists, donor profiles, uploads, exports, and reports for Foundation, executive team, physician and campaign committee meetings 6. Maintain tools to track and report progress towards individual and team development goals and campaign goals 7. Working closely with the Foundation to process all incoming pledges and gifts (check, credit card, wire transfer, stock, and cash donations) into database, ensuring proper gift coding and accurate and up-to-date donor information 8. Manage all acknowledgement templates, gift acknowledgements, and delivery of acknowledgements in a consistent and timely manner while ensuring compliance with IRS regulations 9. Assist in the preparation and execution of mass email campaigns and appeals 10. Manage accurate and timely entry of all gift agreements into donor database 11. Assist in maintenance of donor recognition and gift naming opportunities records 12. Other projects as assigned by Foundation Executive Director.
