NET, Nebraska’s PBS and NPR public media stations is seeking an experienced professional to join our development team. Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major donors and planned gifts. Develop and implement a solicitation strategy for each donor and prospects, prepare written proposals, informational materials, endowment agreements, and gift illustrations.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, journalism, marketing, communications or related field plus three (3) years’ experience in Non-profit fundraising, development or sales. Knowledge of marketing, development, and project management. Skill and ability to promote the benefits of investing in NET and public media to individuals with the capacity to give a major gift. Ability to work with diverse constituencies. Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communications skills essential.
Ideal candidate will have experience in public broadcasting and familiarity of donor management software.
