Supports initiatives to create, implement, and maintain AFP’s professional development programs and products, with a special focus on AFP’s education course licensing program. Reports to the Director, Professional Development, and works closely with other AFP staff, contractors, volunteers, and vendors.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Supports the AFP education course licensing program, which allows AFP chapters and non-profit organizations to host AFP education courses for the benefit of their constituents while generating non-dues revenue for AFP. Courses to include fundraising workshops, webinars, and e-courses.
Provides information and guidance to licensees and prospects. Secures licensing/host agreements. Helps licensees identify workshop faculty. Provides access to courses textbooks, resources, certificates of completion, and evaluations.
Maintains financial records for the licensing program. Creates and send invoices. Tracks payments, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, with appropriate follow-up as needed.
Maintains licensing program information, toolkits, list of workshop faculty, and other resources. Supports program marketing and promotional efforts and maintains information on the AFP website.
Serves as point of contact with the publisher(s) of education course textbooks and materials. Monitors inventory, places orders, maintains records, etc. Ensures contractual obligations are met. Recommends changes to management.
Maintains licensing program records including customer lists and contacts, bookings, budget and financials, evaluations, etc. Monitors trends, analyzes data and makes recommendations to improve and expand the program.
Coordinates licensing and reprints for AFP publications content through services such as the Copyright Clearance Center.
Help identify opportunities, secures agreements, handles implementation details, and ensures marketing and promotion. Tracks and reports on performance and financials.
Tracks registrations/sales, evaluations, financials, and other metrics across all AFP professional development programs. Creates maintains, and delivers regular reports to management. Help analyze data and make recommendations as appropriate.
Supports other professional development programs as assigned. Provides general administrative support including submission of education programs/sessions for CFRE credit; processing of payments, invoices, and working with accounting department on reconciliation of financial records; supporting volunteer committees and taking meeting minutes; providing front-line customer service and basic technical support as needed.
Stays current with trends, best practices, and technologies related to associations, professional development programs, and content licensing. Contributes knowledge and insights toward continuous improvement of programs and products.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational experience
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced professional environment
Non-profit / association background preferred
Additional Salary Information: Hourly/Non-Exempt, Full Time (35-hour work week)
