- Bachelor’s degree. Preferred fields include Public Policy, Social Sciences, International Development, Business Administration, non-profit management or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. At least 5 years of experience in fundraising, with a focus on major gifts
- Experience managing high-level relationships with donors
- A solid understanding of and experience engaging the Chicago philanthropic community.
- Demonstrated commitment to and experience in international development and/or human rights.
- Proven experience in results orientated relationship management, networking, marketing, and intelligence gathering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency in Raiser’s Edge
- Social media savvy; experience using marketing campaign tools a plus.
