Northern Arizona University seeks a dynamic Director of Annual Fund who is experienced in fundraising, marketing, public relations or communications to lead the NAU Fund. In preparation for the silent phase of its next comprehensive campaign, NAU seeks to consistently grow its base of total donors by devoting particular emphasis to its annual giving program, the NAU Fund. This position is responsible for the management and growth of the President’s Associates program, which identifies, cultivates and solicits prospects for a gift club starting at $1,000. The NAU Fund program includes direct marketing (phone, mail, electronic, emerging technologies) and personal solicitation. Its goals include the development and implementation of comprehensive and collaborative strategies, overseeing the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of annual giving donors, and ensuring NAU develops a successful pipeline of major gift prospects. The position reports to the Associate Vice President for Development and Alumni Engagement and is a member of the Development and Alumni Engagement Leadership Team.
Annual Salary: $77,299 - $94,268

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and three years’ experience in marketing/sales, fundraising, program management or communication/public relations, along with experience in direct marketing techniques and statistical analysis.
