Administers a portfolio of donors and prospects for FEAS at giving levels under $25,000. This includes the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of prospects of gifts and donor pledges. Assists the Director of Development, FEAS with planning and organizing events and coordinates with the central Annual Fund Office to manage the annual awards program in FEAS. Supports the Alumni Relations mission by implementing programs and services, events and communication vehicles that build positive relationships with alumni and the FEAS Alumni Association.
Successful completion of a post-secondary degree program in marketing management or a related field with specialty or focus in fundraising and a minimum of 3 years of fundraising experience (ability to identify and secure qualification meetings with new prospects and successful solicitation of gifts of $1000 a year or more and ongoing stewardship) within a post-secondary setting is required.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in alumni relations planning and use of a fundraising database.
Strong experience in conducting analytical research using appropriate tools, collectng data and information, and preparing statistics to identify prospects for gifts and donor pledges.
Experience in developing strategies and cultivating prospects for the gifts and pledges under $25,000
Experience with budgeting, planning and organizing various events including donor recognition events, including alumni engagement strategies.
Experience in effective administration of gifts processes, preparing selection guidelines for new awards, gift agreements and standard and statutory documentation as necessary in coordination with central Annual Fund Office
A commitment to client service, especially in responding to inquiries from donors, alumni and departments as appropriate.
Strong attention to detail to maintain and update databases as it relates to activities, prospects, donors and alumni. Coordinates with and ensures all information is updated and communicated to the appropriate departments.
Solid oral and written communication skills to prepare and deliver presentations, briefing materials, gift proposals and regular correspondence with potential donors
Ability to adapt to new changes as business priorities change
Proficiency in a fundraising database, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Gmail.
