Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement, this role interfaces with all aspects of University Advancement as well as senior leadership of Winona State University, including the President, Foundation Trustees, Directors of Development, Deans and faculty members, and volunteer solicitors. The purpose of this position is to build, manage and direct an effective Prospect Research and Grants program that strategically supports the Universities fundraising goals, initiatives, and overall mission. This role has significant internal visibility within University Advancement and other WSU departments. It also has external interactions with prospects, donors, and corporate/foundation grant makers regarding specific aspects of the program. This position is a key contributing member of the divisions Advancement Services, Leadership, and Development teams.
1. Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of direct experience in prospect research or grant writing and management
