Annual Giving, Capital Campaigns/Endowment, Development - General
The Brookwood Community is currently seeking a Chief Advancement Officer who will coordinate short-term and long-term advancement strategies to secure financial obligations to meet the operating, capital and endowment needs of the mission. Applicants will manage members of the Advancement department to facilitate these strategies through cultivation of private sector donors, fund development, marketing/PR and outreach of the mission. This person will oversee the committees that plan annual and biennial event fundraisers. A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university, Master’s degree in a related or specialized discipline preferred; and at least five years related experience and/or training as a senior Advancement professional; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess strong oral and written communication skills of both a business and personal nature with the ability to meet and interact with individuals and large groups.
