We are hiring a new Director of our Annual Giving program. We seek a person who is creative, inclusive and forward-thinking. Our advancement team is looking for a team member who shares our drive, our passion, and our values. Specifically, he/she will be charged with growing a strong program of alumni and constituent support for the Otterbein Fund. The right person will have the opportunity to develop a leadership giving council and hire an assistant who will manage all aspects of our phone channel and oversee young alumni giving.
Our beautiful campus is located in Westerville, Ohio, one block from Uptown shops and restaurants, ranked as one of the friendliest communities in the country, and is only 15 minutes from downtown Columbus and the John Glenn International Airport. We're nestled between two major shopping/entertainment destinations as well Polaris and Easton - each just 10 minutes from campus.
SUMMARY: The Director of Annual Giving is responsible for managing the University’s Annual giving program and personally soliciting unrestricted gifts at the leadership level ($1000 and above). Using various media (including, phone, web, print and electronic vehicles), the Director will create fundraising solicitations and support the ongoing outreach efforts of departments across Advancement to raise support for the University’s priorities, and programs among its alumni, parents, faculty and staff, and other individuals.
