Responsible for entering, maintaining, and auditing information in department database as well as creating queries, reports, and lists that support the fundraising enterprise. Performs donor and prospect research and organizes prospect knowledge, including ratings, interests and linkages in department database. Assists with day-to-day administrative activities that enhance the efficiency of the department. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program.
Associate’s Degree or 2 years of college-level coursework.
Three years of experience in a nonprofit or healthcare work environment.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and/or other databases
Previous database management and reporting experience.
Knowledge and familiarity with on-line Internet search engines.
Knowledge of accounting or financial principals/practices.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience working with highly sensitive and confidential materials.
Previous experience working in a team environment.
Previous experience working in a fast paced work environment that requires the completion of multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must be self-directed, self-motivated and detail oriented.
Ability to complete detailed work accurately and on schedule.
Previous experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge Software.
Previous experience in donor/prospect research.
May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.
May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.
Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
Ability to read job related documents.
