Overview - Atlanta Habitat for Humanity (AHFH), a nonprofit affordable homeownership affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, partners with families and neighborhood residents to build home and revitalize communities. Our service area includes city of Atlanta and the cities and neighborhoods of South Fulton.
Position Summary - The Sponsorship Director supports the organization’s fundraising efforts as leader of the house sponsorship team. The Sponsorship Director will provide dedicated leadership over all house sponsorship efforts and serves as a key fundraiser for the organization. This position directly manages the Sponsorship Manager and the Sponsorship Coordinator and reports to the Chief Development Officer.
Key Responsibilities –
The Sponsorship Director is directly responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a visionary multi-year fundraising strategy for house sponsorships in coordination with the Chief Development Officer.
- Leading all house sponsorship efforts, including managing team members, overseeing sponsorship budget, tracking progress and reporting to the board development committee.
- Meeting or exceeding specific annual revenue goals for house sponsorship.
- Identifying, cultivating and securing new house sponsors, and stewarding existing house sponsors in portfolio.
- Assisting with public relations and marketing activities as they pertain to house sponsorship.
Position Information - The position is classified exempt full-time. Office hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm, some evening and weekend work is required A full benefits package is offered, including employer subsidized health insurance, paid time off (PTO), a retirement savings plan with employer matching and an employee gym. This position will require some amount of time traveling locally and candidates must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
