Development - General, Donor Relations/Stewardship
Candidate must have a proven track record in the non-profit environment of developing long-term relationships with individual donors, small and large corporations and foundations that has resulted in successful annual fund raising and planned giving programs.
Candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the agency's fundraising strategy that includes a full schedule of annual events, fund drives, grants, sponsorships, endowments, planned giving, corporate giving and capital campaigns.
Will work closely with the President/CEO and the Board of Directors in maximizing opportunities as well as building and managing a portfolio of relationships with prospective donors, including individuals and corporations. A successful candidate will be creative, flexible and skilled in multitasking.
A minimum of 10 year's development/fundraising management experience with a non-profit organization. Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills. A working knowledge of Raisers Edge (or similiar software) and the use of social networking required. Bachelors Degree in Management or related field necessary, Masters preferred.
