Background: The New Market Channels team resides in the CRS Annual Giving Department and is responsible for several key revenue-generating programs, including direct mail new donor acquisition and stewardship, monthly giving, telefundraising and other donation-driven campaigns.
Primary Function: This position is responsible for the production and operations of multiple mail and print campaigns in support of agency-wide and departmental goals.
Job Responsibilities: • Execute strategies for New Market Channel programs; create and manage campaign schedules; initiate and update campaign documentation; complete backend performance and expense reporting • Provide project management in the development, production and fulfillment of acquisition and other campaign materials • Oversee workflow for each campaign from conception through completion; work closely with team members, staff writers, editors and graphic designers; manage deliverables with mailshop and printers • Manage internal fulfillment process; develop job specs, instructions, and purchase orders • Assemble a list of vendors that have the necessary capabilities; develop existing vendor relationships and create new ones; review and submit vendor invoices for payment • Control quality of campaign materials; help develop, review and edit letters, cards, brochures catalogs, and other print materials • Participate in brainstorming for new creative packages • Cross-train with team members, remain current with industry standards and best practices, question processes in order to improve efficiencies and cut costs, and implement any new tools or processes that have been created for this purpose • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: • BA or BS degree preferred • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in direct response, marketing or fundraising • Ability to speak, write and present information clearly • Strong decision-making and negotiating skills • Understanding of fundraising concepts • Experience with budget planning and reporting • Familiarity with donor databases or related systems • Proficient in MS Office • Able to travel as required
