The Assistant Director, Digital Communication, is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing a variety of University Advancement communication for a wide audience in the online and digital space. This includes broadcast correspondence including e-invitations, e-newsletters and other digital communication tools. The Assistant Director also helps to maintain existing Division-wide websites (i.e. Campaign, OUAA, Advancement, and ohiotoday.org), assists in posting content to the Alumni and Friends section of Compass, and implements new technologies and online tools, such as Luminate Online. The Assistant Director uses tools such as Google Analytics to track and monitor website and digital communication usage and effectiveness and provides suggestions in regards to best practices. Additionally, the Assistant Director implements social media strategies and participates in the planning of those strategies as needed.
1) Assist with the implementation and editing of a variety of broadcast correspondence and other digital communication tools.
2) Manage a social media calendar and post to a variety of highly-visible social media outlets, including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
3) Maintain existing University Advancement, division-wide websites, implement new technologies and elements.
4) Track and provide analytics to inform ACM messaging strategy and implementation.
