Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Advancement/Executive Director of Development for the School of Medicine, the Director of Development will be a results-oriented, creative fundraising professional who will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a targeted portfolio of major gift prospects in support of the school’s strategic priorities and objectives for the annual fund, reunion, grateful patients, and other fundraising areas. As a member of the School of Medicine’s development team, the Director will work closely and collaboratively with the Associate Vice President and colleagues in Advancement, including Gift Planning, Donor Relations, Alumni Relations, Advancement Communications and Marketing, and with other departments throughout the university. The position will also work closely with the Dean, board members, Medical School department leadership, faculty, and volunteers.
