Senior Manager – Development
The Senior Manager of Development sets the direction for the Centre’s development unit, drives and successfully executes strategies to achieve the Centre’s philanthropic goals. The position champions the Centre’s philanthropic culture, oversees the development and execution of major fundraising initiatives, leads the solicitation of major asks and long term opportunities, raises awareness and reports on the Centre’s philanthropic priorities and ensures the integrity of philanthropic endeavours and practices.
As Senior Manager of Development you will collaborate with others to grow the Centre’s fund development plans including annual campaigns, planned giving programs and capital fundraising initiatives, initiate action to ensure commitments are realized and oversee stewardship and cultivation activities. You will closely with other units on the development of campaign materials, comprehensive marketing and public relations strategies, web presence and the development of proposals.
The Senior Manager of Development manages all facets of operations of the Development unit and oversees the work of the development team, providing direction and ensuring a high level of engagement, integration and collaboration with other areas of the organization.
The successful candidate will have several years of progressively responsible experience in a philanthropic environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills and a successful track record of delivering results.
This is a long-term position supported by an excellent compensation package.
- Salary starting at $61,300 per year
