The Development Coordinator & Assistant to the Vice President is responsible for supporting the Vice President’s external relations activity and for keeping key operating tasks of the Vice President and the Division on schedule and ensuring they are carried out efficiently and at a high level of quality. The Development Coordinator will work directly with the Vice President for Development and the Executive Assistant to the Vice President and will interact regularly with the Division’s senior staff, the President’s Office, and assistants to other vice presidents.
Bachelor’s degree. Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal skills. Highly well-organized and adept at multi-tasking. Expert at using office technology and in drafting and refining presentations. Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge or the equivalent a plus. A collaborative working style and ability to work well as a member of a team are essential.
The candidate must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. The candidate must be self-motivated, customer-friendly, results-oriented, flexible, and dedicated to excellence.
Work experience highly preferred. Experience in a higher education administrative environment desirable.
Knowledge of development a plus.
