Position Summary: Working closely with the PADF New Business Development Team, Management, and other key staff, the Senior Manager of Corporate Partnerships will develop and present the market potential and implement a strategy for building strong corporate engagement and giving programs. As an integral part of the larger PADF New Business team, the Senior Manager of Corporate Partnerships will build off of PADF’s long history of high-profile private sector partnerships and create a successful and smooth-running corporate development and partnership program, working collaboratively across PADF operating units to advance the organization's corporate partnerships and strategic fundraising goals. MajorDuties & Responsibilities:
Develop and communicate a broad vision for corporate partnerships and fundraising by developing annual and long range strategic fundraising plans to meet identified goals, incorporate existing programs, and identify new opportunities.
Implement a comprehensive corporate development strategy to include CSR programming, engagement of corporate foundation giving, in-kind and employee involvement programs.
Identify corporate partnership opportunities to leverage and build upon new business opportunities with USAID and other bilateral and multilateral funding agencies
Identify, develop, implement, and monitor short- and long-term fundraising corporate partnerships and fundraising goals.
Lead the identification, cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation of corporate and high net worth (HNW) donors, in cooperation with senior leadership and trustees as appropriate.
Lead planning and strategic design of corporate cultivation and stewardship events and assists with all aspects of special events, exhibits, and fundraisers.
Act as primary liaison on corporate giving matters.
Maintain contact database.
Collaborate with the Director of Communications and Public Affairs on a marketing/public relations strategy that will allow PADF to cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships with targeted, external audiences, including potential donors, key influencers, and the media.
Prepare detailed and regular reports of corporate fundraising activities and progress toward goals.
As appropriate, supervise the negotiation, securing, and development of vendor and consultant contracts pertaining to corporate resource development.
Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:
University degree in international development, business administration, marketing, social sciences, public relations, communications or a related discipline
A minimum of 6 years’ private sector, social enterprise, and HNW fundraising experience, with significant work in a leadership capacity directly relevant to the current position
Demonstrable record of success in raising significant donations from corporate donors
The incumbent will have communications, presentation and writing skills of the highest standard and attention to detail
Interest in international affairs and knowledge of international development issues desirable
Superior writing and oral communication skills in English; fluency in Spanish is desirable
Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally
