We are seeking a motivated, energetic and globally competent individual to join our dynamic development team as an Associate Director of Development for USF World. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Development and the USF System Vice President of USF World, the successful candidate will provide fundraising services to USF World for all giving of $25,000 and greater. This will be accomplished through the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of prospective donors.
Five (5) years of experience related to development or other appropriate professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate will also have:
A Masters Degree
Experience with managing a portfolio of special and major gift prospects
Demonstrable success in cultivating, soliciting and closing gifts, preferably in higher education
Possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills
Evidence of related experience that includes cultural responsiveness, global competence and second language proficiency
This position will require some travel within the USA.
