Lynchburg College seeks an energetic, results-orientated Major Gifts Officer, responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donors.
The successful candidate will have minimum of three years of experience in higher education fundraising or a related field with experience in sales; strong organizational skills along with qualities of initiative and leadership; an ability to work effectively with both internal and external constituencies; willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. A Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Selected candidate must successfully pass a background check.
