As a key member of the strategic communications team in the Division of Institutional Advancement at Rollins College, the Assistant Director of Annual Giving Communications plays a critical role in the strategic planning, creation, implementation and analysis of yearly, multi-channel fundraising efforts for all areas of The Rollins Annual Fund. Communications will be geared toward solicitation and stewardship of yearly support via mail, email, social media
and occasional special project outreach specifically tailored to defined audiences within the greater Rollins community, including alumni of the Collage of Liberal Arts (CLA), Crummer Graduate School of Business, Hamilton Holt School, parents, friends, faculty/staff and supporters of Rollins Athletics
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in journalism, English, communications or related field
3+ years of related experience, preferably within a non-profit organization
Demonstrated skill at effective solicitation messaging and ability to make a persuasive case for support across different media
Proven project management expertise within the realm of multi-channel broad-based fundraising
Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to apply findings to influence and improve future performance measures
Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel and social media platforms
Basic coding knowledge (HTML/CSS) a plus
