In order to keep pace with the changing landscape of our donors, Consumer Reports seeks a highly knowledgeable digital fundraising practitioner with a proven track record of implementing successful, multi-million-dollar e-fundraising campaigns in a multi-constituent non-profit environment, working directly with fundraising, digital products, marketing, contact database, PR and Social Media and information technology staff.
Devises, manages, and executes all online fundraising programs to meet departmental revenue budget objectives.
Develops and manages the online Fundraising budget.
Plans and executes e-mail, mobile, social and all web fundraising campaigns. developing associated audience selection criteria on email selections.
Works across the organization on execution of any digital fundraising creative.
Collaborates with the Social Media Director on any Fundraising social media campaigns and messaging as part of multi-channel campaigns; evaluates responses and recommends rollout, elimination or modification.
Develops testing plans for all digital channels; provides feedback to the creative team on development of the new tests.
Analyzes the results of all testing and acts on the results.
Works with the digital services and IT teams to develop a strategic plan to successfully fundraise using the mobile channel
Develops plans to integrate online activities into offline fundraising campaigns, targeting prospects and donors in an effective, streamlined manner across multiple channels.

Digital Qualifications ·
Results: Proven track record setting targets, creating and managing both revenue and expense-side budgets and achieving planned goals.
Demonstrated success using email to drive campaigns, including list selection, segmentation, managing opt-in/out preferences, creative execution and systematic optimization of performance through adjustments to messaging and frequency.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at creating, reviewing and adapting copy.
Experience formulating, implementing and tracking mobile campaigns, including SMS, QR code and mobile web based efforts.
Experience with basic search marketing (including SEO and SEM) techniques, as well as social media outreach. · Demonstrated experience optimizing web experiences to drive fundraising performance, including optimizing page copy, layout and conversion flow.
Experience with web or software project management, including requirements definition, interaction with digital design and engineering teams as well as other groups such as social media, digital marketing and product management.
A background in web product management or project management for a high-visibility brand is a strong plus.
Analytics and Optimization:
At a minimum, the candidate must be skilled at campaign reporting and modifying strategy according to results.
Preferred candidates will be comfortable working “hands on” with tools and data.
S/he will be proficient in Excel, Google Analytics, Omniture Site Catalyst, Microsoft Office Suite and be comfortable using content management systems. Fundraising Qualifications ·
Relatable experience managing portfolios of over 100,000+ donors and generating at least $1 million annually at a nationally recognized organization.
Demonstrated track record growing digital giving programs from 10% to 35% annually, and identifying high-potential donors for further cultivation and stewardship.
Ability to develop and communicate a clear understanding of current donor behaviors, needs and motivators.
Experience structuring and managing donor contact guidelines, privacy protection and other fundraising best practices in ways appropriate for digital campaigns.
Track record of open, collaborative leadership across a multi-faceted cross-functional team environment is a must.
Active in the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) or similar professional societies.
