The Development Services Manager supports Children’s Home + Aid in achieving its financial goals and fulfilling its mission. As the Development Services Manager, you will implement policies, procedures, and practices in support of acquiring, retaining, and upgrading donors. The Development Services Manager supervises the Development Assistant and reports to the Director of Operations.
Manage and oversee the use of data to enhance fundraising activities.
Coordinate all stewardship activities including gift processing and donor research.
Maintain donor database and run reports; train development staff on database usage.
Act as liaison with finance department and lead regular reconciliations.
Advise development team in all areas of non-profit tax law best practices.
Provide direct supervision to Development Assistant.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum of five years development and/or donor database administration experience required.
Excellent skills using Raiser’s Edge required.
Membership to Association of Advancement Services Professionals, or other similar professional organization, preferred.
Strong problem solving, planning, training, communication and negotiation skills, with an attention to detail.
