Hospice & Palliative CareCenter (HPCC) is a non-profit hospice organization serving patients and families since 1979. Our mission is to provide compassionate care for individuals living with a life-limiting illness and their families.
The Senior Fundraising Professional is responsible for development, enhancement and retention of relationships with higher level donors, producing reliable and sustainable gifts to support the organization’s mission. Candidate should have proven experience in fundraising. The position will identify, engage, cultivate, solicit and steward corporate and individual donors to support the HPCC mission. Responsible for meeting annual revenue goals working with a portfolio of donors and prospects who have the potential to give consistently and over a sustainable period of years. The position is a member of the Donor Relations team, sharing collective responsibility and focus on cultivation, solicitation and retention of donors, board engagement, and strategic planning to reach annual goals.
This is a new position designed to focus on moving current donors to higher levels of giving, as well as development of prospective donors. Recent data mining has yielded a wealth of prospects in our own database. We welcome strategic thinkers who will contribute to our plans to increase donor revenue over the next 3 years.

Requirements: Candidates must have demonstrated fundraising skills which will enable the organization to achieve its fundraising targets each year. Requirements include 5 years fundraising experience including corporate and annual fund gifts as well as proven relationship building skills. Extensive community connection and involvement as well as collaboration with a variety of community organizations and business leaders is considered a plus.

Hospice & Palliative CareCenter is the oldest Hospice organization in NC and celebrating a 30th anniversary in 2009. We employ @325 and serve a patient census of 410-415 currently. Our annual budget is $30,000,000. We operate a 30 bed Hospice inpatient facility (KBR Hospice Home)and provide outpatient services in 13 counties.In addition to caring and compassionate end of life care services offered to our communities include bereavement support and grief counseling.
