Responsibilities: Responsible for soliciting Leadership Annual Giving prospects and managing special project fundraising for Institutional Advancement; identifies, cultivates and solicits Leadership Annual Giving prospects through various communication methods including personal visits; maintains a prospect portfolio of 100; drives strategy and facilitates implementation of special project fundraising initiatives including but not limit to: Reunion Giving, G.O.L.D. Program, Senior Class Gift, Varsity R, Parent Giving, and peer-to-peer solicitation projects; works with Director of Donor relations to develop and implement stewardship practices for Leadership Annual Giving donors.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; minimum of one to two years’ experience in higher education fund raising preferred; willingness to and conduct in-person solicitations; ability to organize and work with volunteers; critical thinking, problem-solving abilities; ability to multi-task and prioritize projects; self-directed with effective time management skills: superior organization skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision; data-oriented; proficient in Excel, mail merge, data analysis with ability to learn new software; flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and deadlines; valid drivers' license with acceptable MVR (motor vehicle report) required.
