Job Description
The Director of Fundraising will provide leadership and strategic direction in designing and implementing the organization’s overall fund development plan to support the ongoing operation and growth of Quigley House and its programs. Responsible for ensuring growth in the organization's signature fundraising events as well as donor procurement/management, and will work actively with members of the Board of Directors, staff and volunteers to develop, articulate and implement the organization’s fund development strategy that surpasses current expectations and sets a higher bar for philanthropic revenue, both within the development program and across the entire organization.

NOTES: Local Residents Preferred (No Relo)

Requirements
BA/BS degree required in Business, Public Relations, Communication or the equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned fundraising professional who can provide strong and innovative leadership, who has a proactive, entrepreneurial style and a proven ability to create opportunities and develop long-term relationships. This individual will be a strategic thinker who is a self-starter and who possesses results-driven management skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills, advanced skills in project management, and a keen interest in the organization’s mission are vital to this position, as are public self-confidence, enthusiasm, creativity, and experience in budget development and fiscal accountability. A collaborative, collegial style, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for building bridges between stakeholders are key.
