AADD has over a 50 year history as Atlanta's premier nonprofit organization in service and advocacy to people with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities. AADD primarily serves the greater metropolitan area of Atlanta, though two of our advocacy programs are statewide in scope. Our mission is to build communities of support, acceptance, and opportunity for children, adults, and families living with developmental disabilities.

Job Description
AADD is looking for a highly committed individual to oversee the development and implementation of our fund raising and marketing efforts. Essential duties will include the support of annual and long-range development of goals and strategies for development department as well as implementing AADD’s fundraising and marketing goals and strategies. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Strong knowledge of principles, ethics and practices of successful fundraising. • Ability to lead multiple long- and short-term projects simultaneously, meeting all related deadlines; ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage own work; ability to work unsupervised and make decisions and solve problems independently, effectively and creatively. Proven ability to work effectively with board members, colleagues, donors and volunteers. • Ability to work in a hands-on environment with limited resources; computer literacy and knowledge of Donor Perfect is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in managing people and budgets.
