Primary duties include: * Complete responsibility for event life-cycle project management (planning, budgeting, reporting, scheduling, and follow-up)

* Event contract management and negotiation

* Coordinating with event stakeholders to ensure event success

* Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills

* Logic and reasoning skills essential to assessing and implementing alternative solutions to problems

* A strong attention to detail

* Knowledge and experience with grassroots membership organization

* A well-organized, collegial working style

* A passion for resource development and fundraising

A candidate must also have a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience infield, at least six years of professional and/or volunteer experienceand demonstrated successful track record in event planning in the areasof nonprofit fundraising, conferences, corporate events or otherrelated event planning, management and production, solid computer experience,including Microsoft Office Suite and be willing and able to travel(including evenings and weekends).
