The Director of Sustaining Gifts will oversee all strategies and programs designed to secure funding for the Lewis Fund and non-Campaign College and academic program support. Special emphasis will be placed upon Reunion, Parent, Young Alumni, Senior Class and Faculty-Staff Giving Appeals.
Responsibilities include: Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission and Catholic and Lasallian Heritage. -Design strategies, develop programs and successfully manage and implement the Sustaining Gifts program and fulfill goals. -Identify, research, cultivate and personally solicit $1,000 and above members of the President's circle giving society; anticipating spending 25% of time in this effort, reaching 30 to 50 prospects per year. -Manage the Lewis Funds annual appeals through the integration of both telemarketing, e-mail, and direct mail appeals regularly throughout the fiscal year. -Plan and manage the Reunion Giving, Senior Class Gift, Young Alumni, Faculty-Staff, and parent fund raising campaigns. - Manage the gift acknowledgement process. -Assist in the planning and preparation of special events as needed. -Plan and Manage appeals for the Heritage Circle/ Memorial Garden. -Serve as a responsible and credible representative of Lewis University through involvements on various University and community-wide committees that promote the goals and Mission based Values of Lewis University. - Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by the Vice President for University Advancement.
